Tourists flocked to Sylhet for three consecutive days of vacation. Since Eid-E-Miladunnabi holiday is added with the two-day weekly holiday, tourists from different parts of the country came to Sylhet. As a result, it has become very difficult to get seats in hotels, motels and guest houses.

As the regular Friday and Saturday holiday added with another government holiday, these three days the tourist centers became crowded with tourists.

Sylhet is on the list of tourists' choice in any season at Bangladesh. Tourists always rush to see the beautiful and charming environment of Sylhet, the lush green land of natural beauty. When they a long holiday like this, they come with their team and family. That's why tourists flocked to different tourist centers of Sylhet now.

This Thursday (September 28) morning, the pressure of tourists from different parts of the country can be seen at different points of Sylhet city. Their destination is various tourist spots of Punyabhoomi Sylhet.

Talking to Abul Hossain from Chattogram at Jonaki Restaurant located at Sobhani Ghat Point in Sylhet it was known that he is a  tourist who came to Sylhet to visit Meghalaya. He said that he got three consecutive days off. Today and tomorrow he will be staying in India. I will be in Sylhet after tomorrow. Now waiting at Sobhanighat point for Jaflong going bus. I hope these few days i can spend very happily.

Meanwhile, since the morning, the number of tourists has started to increase in the main tourist spots of Sylhet such as Ratargul, Sadapathor (White Stones), Bisthakandi, Jaflong. It is assumed that hundreds of thousands of people will gather in these clear places as the day progresses.

When asked about the overall safety of the tourists, Tourist Police Jaflong Zone Inspector Ratan Sheikh said, we are always engaged in the overall safety of tourists. We are working so that tourists can travel comfortably. Also the price of entry tickets to various spots, boat fares are fixed. Under no circumstances more fares can be taken. If anyone violates this we will take action against them.
