PM Hasina On Her Way To London

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Washington DC for London after a 13-day visit to the United States. The British Airways flight (BA-292) carrying the Prime Minister left Washington DC's Dulles International Airport for London at 11:45 pm local time on Friday (September 29).

She will arrive at London's Heathrow Airport at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, September 30). Saida Muna Tasneem, High Commissioner of Bangladesh in UK, will welcome her at the airport.

Bangladesh's ambassador to the United States, Muhammad Imran, and Bangladesh's ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations, Muhammad Abdul Muhith, bid farewell to the Prime Minister at the Dulles International Airport.

In addition, the president of the United States Awami League. Siddiqur Rahman, General Secretary Abdus Samad Azad, Dr. Masudur Rahman, Haji Enam, Awami League leader Shahanara Rahman, Metro Washington Awami League leaders and activists from various states were present at the airport.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on the night of September 17 to attend the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly. A British Airways flight (BA 1593) carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage landed at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport at 10:42 a.m. on 17 September. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly at noon on September 22.

The Prime Minister will depart for Dhaka from London's Heathrow Airport on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG208) flight at 8:35 p.m. (London time) on October 3 and arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on October 4 at 12:30 p.m. (Bangladesh time).
