Schedule of The National Parliamentary Election in November: EC

Election Commissioner Ansur Rahman said the schedule of the National Assembly elections will be announced in November.

He confirmed the matter at the election training of District Administrators at ETI Bhavan in Agargaon of the capital on Saturday (October 14).

Earlier, he predicted that the schedule of the national elections in November could be announced on August 9.

EC Anisur said that the online election management app will be used in the upcoming national elections. Candidates can submit nomination papers through online. Also regarding the voter, party, candidate, symbol, picture, polling station information and other services will be available in this app. It will be inaugurated by next November.

He said that the vote should be held in the last week of December or the first week of January. Usually scheduled 45 days in advance.

Referring to the statement of the CEC published in the newspaper recently, he said that the CEC has spoken about November. However, the commission has not yet decided on this. Schedule will be given in due course.
