Police Considering BNP Central Office As 'Crime Scene'

The police are considering BNP's central office in Nayapaltan of the capital as a 'crime scene'.

Going to the Nayapaltan area this Sunday (October 29) morning, it can be seen that the BNP office has been surrounded with yellow tape. Riot police are guarding there.

A forensic investigation team of the Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was seen searching for crime evidence from there. A group enters the office.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman of the Forensic Department told the media that we are investigating what kind of explosives were used there. We collected 10 types of signs. I will send the marks for the examination as per the rules. They will give us a report from the forensics, with what kind of evidence the explosion was caused.

Apart from this, many riot police have been seen at every street corner in Nayapaltan. A water cannon was seen on the road.

Police are removing rickshaws and pedestrians from the vicinity of the BNP office. The situation is prevailing in that area.
