Nasser Shahrear's Nomination Paper Remains Valid

Chairman of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited and Executive Director of Zahedee Foundation, Nasser Shahrear Zahedee filed nomination paper as an independent candidate for Jhenaidah-2 (Sadar-Harinakundu) in the 12th National Parliament Election and the papers have been declared valid.

District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner S M Rafiqul Islam confirmed this information on Monday (December 4) afternoon.

After verification of nomination papers of 20 candidates in Jhenaidah 1 and 2 constituencies, 15 candidatures were declared valid and 5 nomination papers were cancelled.

34 candidates filed their nominations for four parliamentary constituencies in Jhenaidah. Due to the cancellation of the nomination papers of 7 people, now there are 27 valid candidates.
