PM To Hold Meeting With The Secretaries

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a meeting with the secretaries for the first time after the formation of the government.

The meeting will be held in her office under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister on Monday (February 5) morning. The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister's office at 10 am, the Cabinet Division said.

According to the website of the Cabinet Division, there are currently 87 officials at the level of secretary and senior secretary. They handle the responsibilities of various ministries as well as various government departments, authorities, commissions and corporations, and other institutions.

Usually, the Secretary meeting is chaired by the Cabinet Secretary, in which all the secretaries of the government participate. Sometimes the Prime Minister also attends the secretary meeting. Sheikh Hasina last attended the secretary meeting on November 27, 2022. It is said that the notice of the meeting has already been sent from the cabinet department to the concerned secretaries.
