Although the Awami League will not contest the upazila parishad election with a boat, the Jatiya Party's chairman GM Quader said that the Jatiya Party (JaPa) will participate in the election with the party symbol.

He said, we know that the government will control the polls. Even so, I will participate in the upazila elections. Through this, I will highlight the issue of government control in voting to the people.

He said this in response to a question from journalists at Rangpur Circuit House on Friday (February 9) afternoon.

GM Quader said that the Jatiya Party will hold elections with its symbols. Awami League said they will not give party symbols to any of them. Since everywhere they have multiple candidates to contest; They are not discouraging it. It did the same in the national elections. In our case, there is a law to choose symbols, so it has been decided to choose symbols. So far this is the decision of the National Party.

Stating that the country's condition is not good, the leader of the opposition party in the national parliament said that the country's economic situation is not good. All measures of the government to improve this situation have failed. Because of that unemployment is increasing in the country. They are talking about various measures, but nothing is happening.
