She will be traveling to Germany on Thursday, primarily to attend the Munich Security Conference, where she has been invited as a distinguished guest.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh aims to actively engage with Europe through its participation in the prestigious Munich Security Conference. The country sees this conference as a key platform for enhancing relations with Europe and addressing various issues, including security and climate change. During the conference, Bangladesh will assert its position on these matters while also engaging in formal and informal discussions with heads of state and government from various countries.

During her visit, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to hold meetings with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Additionally, there might be interactions with India's Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, and Nick Clegg, President of Global Affairs at Meta. It has also been reported that a Deputy Managing Director of the World Bank has sought an appointment to meet with the Prime Minister.

The three-day trip will conclude with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina delivering a speech at a community event organized by the German Awami League. Bangladeshi diaspora from various European countries have been invited to attend the event.
