Four Shops Burnt In Khulna Fire

Four shops were burned in a fire in Ferryghat intersection area in Khulna on early Sunday.

The incident took place at about 12:00am. It took two hours for 11 units of fire service to bring the fire under control.

The affected shops are Nusa Furniture, Al Amin Steel Store, Ziel Book House and Balaka Book House.

Local people said the fire broke out at Nusa Furniture shop in front of Sonali Bank in the city’s Dak Bungalow area.

Kamal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Khulna Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident.
