New Schedule Of Metrorail In Ramadan

Today, Sunday (March 10), at an event in the conference room of the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) in Eskaton, the Managing Director M.A.M. Siddique informed that there will be no changes in the schedule of the metro rail for the first 15 days of Ramadan.

However, he mentioned that in the last 15 days, the operating hours of the trains will be extended by one hour on both sides.

Siddique stated that the last trains from Motijheel and Uttara will depart at 9:40 PM and 9:20 PM respectively.

He also mentioned that during Iftar, passengers will be allowed to carry 250 ml water bottles, but it is mandatory to dispose of the bottles properly and not litter anywhere. The Iftar schedule will be displayed on LED screens inside and outside the trains.
