Two Siblings Drown In Chandpur

Two siblings drowned in a pond at Faridkandi village in Chandpur's Matlab Uttar upazila on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Samiul, 4, and Samia, 3, son and daughter of Md Parvez Hasan of the village.

The two kids went missing when they were playing near the water body on Thursday afternoon. Later their family members, along with local people, searched for them. Around 5:30 pm, they rescued the kids and took them to Upazila Health Complex where doctors pronounced them dead.
