RAB Probes Suspected Sabotage Of Demra Bus Fire

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has initiated an investigation into the fire incident involving 14 buses of London Express (Volvo Coach) at a garage in Dharmik Para area of Konapara, Demra, in the capital, to determine if sabotage was involved. Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of the Legal and Media Wing of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), delivered the statement during a press conference at the RAB Media Centre in Kawran Bazar on Tuesday afternoon.

In this time responding to journalists' queries, he said, "No formal complaints have been lodged with us regarding the burnt buses from Monday night. Nonetheless, our investigative team is actively working on the case. We are examining whether this was a typical incident or an act of sabotage."

He also said, "Our investigators will engage with the affected parties, and if any suspicions arise, they will be thoroughly addressed. We are committed to uncovering whether foul play was involved."

Yesterday on Monday the fire broke out in the Dharmik Para garage around 8:45pm, engulfing 14 coaches of the London Express (Volvo Coaches). Later on firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze by 9:48pm with the assistance of five fire service units.
