Kamalapur Station Buzzing With Homebound Travellers

The Kamalapur Rail Station was more crowded than usual as passengers began their homeward journeys a week before the holidays. Those who have managed to book advance train tickets online are traveling home today.

Many have already left Dhaka in the special train journey that started this morning. However, the train schedule disruption occurs at the beginning of the journey.

After visiting Kamalapur railway station it can be seen, that separate gates have been constructed to enter the station. The appointed officials of the railway stood in front of these temporary gates constructed of bamboo. There the employees check the tickets of the passengers coming to the station for the Eid journey. No one can enter without a ticket.

To ensure the overall safety of the passengers, temporary booths of several organizations have been built next to it. Police, RNB, and RAB-3 members of law and order forces were seen performing their duties in these booths.

To enter the platform, passengers have to show the ticket again. They can enter inside only after confirming the information by scanning those tickets.

Passengers say that they have not faced any suffering so far. However, many commented that the Eid journey will be easier if the train leaves on time as per the schedule.

A passenger named Abul Kausar said, everything has been done well so far. There was no such crowd or suffering. I am waiting for the train
