Govt Working To Ensure Healthcare Services For All: Health Minister

Health and Family Welfare Minister Samanta Lal Sen said on Saturday that the government is relentlessly working to ensure healthcare services for all people across the country by 2030.

He made these remarks while addressing a discussion meeting held on the occasion of World Health Day 2024 at Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Convention Hall in Shahbagh area of Dhaka.

Underscoring the need to reach the healthcare facilities to the doorsteps of people, the health minister called upon doctors, nurses and all stakeholders in the sector to diligently work, fulfilling their roles.

“I will ensure all necessary facilities for you (doctors and nurses) if you guarantee your dedicated services,” Sen said, adding that the government has fixed a target to achieve universal health facilities for all by 2030.
