South Asia's Largest Eidgah Ground Prepared For Eid Jamaat

South Asia's largest Eidgah ground, locayed at Gor-e-Shahid Eidgah Maidan in Dinajpur is now ready  for the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers. All of the preparations have been completed to ooerate the Eid prayer session over here. 

The country's largest Eid congregation is scheduled to take place in this vast field.

Organizers have arranged for approximately 600,000 worshippers to pray together this time. Also the security has tightened to avoid any unwanted situations.

Additionally, two special trains have been provided from Thakurgaon and Parbatipur junctions for the convenience of the worshippers.

Spanning 22 acres, the main attraction of this expansive Eidgah Maidan is the 50-domed minaret, flanked by two minarets on either side, each standing 60 feet tall. The central two pulpits reach a height of 50 feet, while the main pulpit stands at 55 feet. The combined width of all these structures is 516 feet.

Thousands of visitors from distant locations visit daily to marvel at the beauty of these minarets. Not limited to Dinajpur, worshippers from various districts across the country gather here to pray. Excited worshippers look forward to offering prayers in this historic Eidgah field, believing in the virtues of praying in a large congregation.

Deputy Commissioner Shakil Ahmed and Superintendent of Police Shah Iftekhar Ahmed assured five levels of security, including CCTV surveillance and watch towers, to ensure the smooth conduct of Eid-ul-Fitr prayers.

National Parliament Whip Iqbalur Rahim, after inspecting the Eidgah grounds' final preparations, commended the administration and police department for their comprehensive arrangements.

The Eid-ul-Fitr prayers are scheduled to commence at 9am at Gor-e-Shahid Eidgah Maidan, with Alhaj Maulana Shamsul Alam Kasemi leading the prayer, like every time.
