Eid Journey By Train Has Been Seamless: Railway Minister

Railway Minister Md. Zillul Hakim said as per the instructions of the Prime Minister the train journey of homebound people ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr has become very smooth. We have all tried to ensure that the passengers can go home safely and have a comfortable Eid.

Our efforts have been successful, people have gone home hassle-free, and the Eid journey by train has been smooth.

He said this at his residence in Narayanpur village of Pangsha upazila of Rajbari on Wednesday.

The railway minister said we have already given return tickets to the passengers. Our efforts have paid off. Thanks to the people, thanks to the railway officials, and employees.

He also said that on April 8, the railway gave a gift to the newborn baby born in the compartment of the Kapotaksha Express train running on the Khulna-Rajshahi route and gave them all the support they needed.

At that time, Pangsha Upazila Chairman Farid Hasan Odud, Upazila Awami League President Saiful Islam and local leaders and activists were present.
