Tragic Accident In Faridpur Claims 11 Lives

11 people were killed in a collision between a bus and a pickup van in Kanaipur, Faridpur. However, the casualty was not immediately identified. It is known that all the deceased were passengers of the pickup van.

The accident took place in front of Tentultala Abloom Highway restaurant in Kanaipur Union of Sadar Upazila at around 8 am on Tuesday (April 16).

According to police sources, a Dhaka-bound passenger pickup collided head-on with Magura-bound Unique Paribahan leaving 11 people died on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Faridpur's Karimpur Highway Police Station. Salauddin Chowdhury said that 11 people were killed on the spot in this road accident.
