Did Supporters of Trump Proposed the Imposition of Martial Law?

Was a businessman who was a supporter of President Trump went to meet him at the White House with a proposal for martial law?

A staff photographer at the Washington Post took a picture of the businessman's handwritten paper, sparking a similar discussion on social media.

This news has been published in all the major US newspapers today.

The businessman who went to meet with President Trump was named Michael Lindell. He is the chief executive of a company called 'My Pillow' in the United States. It is basically a business selling bed and pillows.

On Friday, January 15, Michael Lindell traveled to the White House to meet with President Trump. As he headed to the West Wing, he was caught on camera by Washington Post staff photographer Jabin Botsford.

Many are shocked to learn that Mr Lindell's speech in the film was written on paper. Many on Twitter have commented that Mr Lindell's handwritten note suggests that he is proposing martial law in the United States.

Just four days after President Trump's term expires, Joe Biden will take over as the new president on January 20.

Mr Trump is still equally claiming that he won the election and is manipulating Joe Biden to win.

Mr. Trump is now in a state of disarray after a violent attack on the Capitol building from the thousands of supporters who gathered at a rally in Washington DC on his call on January 8. He has already been impeached by the Congress for the second time.

Michael Lindell is a staunch supporter of President Trump. He also posted on his Facebook page last Friday: "Believe me! We will have Donald Trump as our president for another four years."

One of the notes in the Washington Post photographer's handwritten note reads "Martial law if necessary" (military rule if necessary). Elsewhere it says "Move Cash Patel to CIA Acting" (Cash Patel is in charge of CIA ..).

Cash Patel is an official loyal to Mr. Trump, who was transferred to the Department of Defense after the election. There he was accused of obstructing the transfer of power to Joe Biden's team.

If President Trump loses the election, some supporters have previously voted to impose martial law. One of them is Roger Stone.

Jim Acosta, CNN's White House correspondent, said he had spoken with Mr. Lindell. Mr. Lindell confirmed that he had met with President Trump and asked Mr. Trump to submit these documents to his staff at the White House. He denied, however, that his note contained "martial law".
