Unique US Use of Science: the Largest State Terrorism And Genocide in History

75 years ago, on August 6, 1945, the US government committed the greatest and most horrific atrocity in human history. Millions of innocent civilians were killed in just a few seconds as a result of the biggest state terrorism and the most brutal misuse of science by the US government.

As World War II drew to a close and Japan sought to negotiate a surrender with Western adversaries, the US atomic bombing of the Japanese city of Hiroshima, far from the battlefield, killed nearly 100,000 innocent Japanese civilians in an instant. Millions more were injured.

Thousands more Japanese have been killed in the ensuing years as a result of the horrific radioactivity of the bomb.

In addition, the radioactivity of the bomb has caused Hiroshima residents to suffer from a variety of diseases, including cancer, for many years. Thousands of children have been born crippled in response to the bombing. Disabled or crippled children are still being born in that area.

The name of the US atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima was 'Little Boy'. Its destructive power was equal to twenty thousand tons of T&T.

Three days after the attack on Hiroshima, the United States dropped another atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Nagasaki. At least 70,000 Japanese civilians were killed in the bombing.

The United States used these atomic bombs when World War II was coming to an end and Japan was about to surrender or end the war in the face of defeat on various battlefields. Through this, the then US government has tried to instill in the governments and peoples of the world the fear that America is the biggest military and invincible power in the world and this arrogant power should be accepted by all as the biggest leader or police government in the world.

But America's humiliating defeat in the Vietnam War and its recent devastation in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars prove that superiority in military armaments, including possession of an atomic bomb, does not guarantee a permanent occupation or domination of any country.

America is the only country in the world that has used the atomic bomb. US governments have never apologized for using the atomic bomb in Japan, and the Obama administration has refused to apologize. The US government has not faced trial for the biggest genocide in human history in organizations like the United Nations or international organizations. The Japanese leaders also did not take any initiative to bring to justice the US leaders involved in the great crimes against humanity by accepting the treaty of subjugation as a defeated power.

Despite strong calls for a global ban on nuclear weapons, the United States continues to produce weapons of mass destruction, including more deadly and powerful nuclear weapons. On the other hand, the United States is preventing independent countries from acquiring peaceful nuclear technology. The US government and its Western allies have imposed sanctions on Iran for years, accusing Tehran of trying to build an atomic bomb, despite a fatwa by Iran's supreme leader declaring that building and storing nuclear bombs is forbidden. Despite promising to lift the ban in the light of the nuclear deal, they are still delaying its implementation.

Occupying Zionist Israel, on the other hand, has been given the opportunity to acquire hundreds of nuclear weapons by its imperialist allies, including the United States. Because of its nuclear power, racist Israel is gaining ground and has killed millions of Arab and Palestinian Muslims over the past 50 years.
