Shampratik Deshkal Hosts Friendly Convention Marking Its 11th Anniversary

The highly circulated weekly 'Shampratik Deshkal' has arranged a friendly convention marking its eleventh founding anniversary today. The convention event commenced at 3:00 PM on Saturday (February 10th) at the Auditorium of Radiant Pharma, SMC Tower-2, in the capital.

The event has been attended by the mentor of  'Shampratik Deshkal', the Chairman of Radiant Group and Radiant Publications Limited, and Member of Parliament from Jhenaidah-2 constituency Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee Mohul.

In the current time, passing eleven years of uninterrupted continuity for a weekly newspaper requires not only courage but also ignited spirits. However, this achievement is not limited to the regular staff of the weekly 'Shampratik Deshkal' but encompasses the lion's share of responsibility of all our companions, district correspondents, esteemed authors, regular readers, advertisers, publishers, and well-wishers.

Just as we have overcome adversaries and challenging times in the past eleven years, we have also received immense encouragement and generous support from all our companions. We are grateful to them all. Without their encouragement, the weekly 'Shampratik Deshkal' could not have sustained its journey for eleven years.

Our experience in continuous work is our available resource, our vitality is our authors and readers. Our patrons, advertisers, well-wishers, and inspirers are our lifelines. We have been able to maintain uninterrupted publication of a newspaper and enhance its journey through their inspiration and enthusiasm. The weekly 'Shampratik Deshkal' has never lagged behind in evaluating the readers' interest and expectations.

In the past eleven years, new talents have joined the ranks of the weekly  'Shampratik Deshkal', inspiring our authors, readers, advertisers, and well-wishers. A quarterly magazine named 'Deshkal Patrika' is being published regularly, and it is also available on the website. An online news portal has been launched. In addition, the bi-monthly magazine 'Shilpojon' has recently been published for enthusiasts of art and literature living outside the capital.

The quarterly 'Deshkal' magazine has also received accolades from the literati in Kolkata, outside the country. The Kolkata edition of the 'Deshkal Patrika', edited by filmmaker and author Soumitra Dastidar, is regularly published. The 'Puja edition' has already been published in collaboration with Kolkata. Plans are underway to jointly publish the 'Eid edition' in the future.

The 'Shampratik Deshkal' is committed to promoting social consciousness, actively participating in the struggle for human rights protection, and being unwavering in the fight against corruption and injustice, thus contributing to the creation of a prosperous and progressive nation.
