BHBFC Virtual Meeting in Memory of Late MD Debasish Chakrabarty

A virtual meeting was held on 18-01-2021 at 3.30 pm in memory of the late Managing Director Debasish Chakrabarty of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation.

Mr. Md. Ashadul Islam, Honorable Senior Secretary of Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance was the Chief Guest. Chairman of BHBFC Prof. Dr. Md. Salim Uddin, FCA, FCMA, Director Mr. Neelufar Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, Mr. Tapon Kumar Ghosh were connected as special guests.

Mr. Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Managing Director (Add. Charge) presided over the meeting and All levels of BHBFC employees and former high officials and family members, friends and well-wishers of the late Managing Director also participated in this virtual program. 

Speakers at the meeting paid deep homage to the memory of the late Managing Director Debasish Chakrabarty, wished him peace of soul and extended deep sympathy to the bereaved family. Debasish Chakrabarty was a bearer of fairness, honesty and transparency, a successful managing Director, a source of inspiration, an employee-friendly and visionary leader. He had a vast knowledge of financial technology which is rare in this sector. He was successful to enhance the reputation and image of BHBFC by utilizing the excellence of technology. They called upon the employees of the corporation to work with honesty and dedication to carry forward his unfinished work and dreams.
