BHBFC Takes 100 Days Special Program Marking Mujib's Birth Centenary

On the occasion of Mujib's Birth Centenary, a meeting was held at 3.00 pm on March 29 to review the successful implementation of the 100-day special program announced by BHBFC and the progress achieved.

The meeting was chaired by the Managing Director and all the zonal, regional and branch offices of the corporation were connected to the zoom platform.

In addition, all the General Managers, Project Director, Deputy General Managers and Heads of various departments were present at the meeting. General Manager Mr. Arun Kumar Chowdhury conducted the function.

At the meeting, the Managing Director emphasized on maximizing customer service quality and cooperation in loan disbursement. In order to increase the flow of loans, he directed the convey to adopt a positive attitude, avoid harassment and bring loan services to the doorsteps of the people.

The meeting also called for increasing the number of loan disbursements as well as the need to make maximum efforts to recover defaulted loans, especially classified loans. He reminded the people to follow the policy of Zero Tolerance against those involved in breach of duty.

The present Managing Director of the organization, Mr. Md. Afzal Karim, announced the program within 15 days of joining BHBFC on March 1. It is to be noted that this program which started on March 16 will end on June 23, 2021. Within the announced 100-days program, targets have been set for the current financial year for loan sanction, loan disbursement, collection, settlement of cases and audit objections.
