Nat’l Income Tax Day Being Observed

The “National Income Tax Day-2021” is being observed aiming to create awareness among the people for payment of income tax regularly for the development of the country.

The National Board of Revenue held a seminar in its conference room in the capital on Tuesday morning in observance of the day.

This time the theme of Tax Day is 'Implementation of Mujib Year's Promise by Ensuring Spontaneous Participation of Taxpayers in Paying Taxes'.

On the occasion of the day, a seminar on 'Implementation of Vision and Role of Income Tax in Building the Future of Bangladesh' has been organized in the meeting hall of Revenue Building at Segunbagicha in the capital on Tuesday morning. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque will be the chief guest at the event.

Seminars will also be organized in other divisional cities highlighting the role of income tax.

Taxpayers will be present at the discussion on tax day, especially businessmen, income tax lawyers, literary, cultural and sports national level celebrities, income tax lawyers, journalists and people from different walks of life.

Today is the last day for individual taxpayers to file their income tax returns.
