Gold Prices Rise by Tk 3265 Per Bhori

The Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association has decided to raise the prices of gold by around Tk 3,265 per bhori (11.664 grams), with effect from Thursday.

BAJUS's standing committee on pricing and price monitoring took the decision on Tuesday, a press release said on Thursday.

Now, gold of 22-carat will cost Tk 78,265 per bhori, 21-carat Tk 74,766, 18-carat Tk 64,152 and gold of traditional method Tk 53,421 respectively.  

Earlier on February 9, the jeweller’s association hiked the gold prices by Tk 1,867 per bhori to Tk 75,000.
