Gold Prices Drop in Local Market

The price of gold in the country's local market has dropped by a maximum of 1283 taka. This price will be effective from Thursday (September 15).

From tomorrow on, it will cost 83 thousand 281 taka to buy 22 carats of gold. Which till Wednesday was 84 thousand 564 taka.

This information was announced in a press release signed by MA Hannan Azad, chairman of the Bangladesh Jewelers Association-Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee today, Wednesday (September 14).

According to the new prices, from Thursday (September 15), 22 carat gold will cost Tk 83,281, 21 carat will cost Tk 79,490, 18 carat will cost Tk 68,118, traditional method will cost Tk 56,454. money

However, the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, the price of 22 carat silver is 1 thousand 516 taka. The price of 21 carat silver remains unchanged at Tk 1,435, 18 carat silver at Tk 1,225 and traditional silver at Tk 933.

On Wednesday, 22 carat gold was sold at 84 thousand 564 taka, 21 carat was sold at 80 thousand 715 taka, 18 carat was sold at 69 thousand 168 taka, traditional gold was sold at 57 thousand 387 taka.
