Electricity Price Goes Up, Effective from Jan 1

The government has increased the price of electricity at the consumer level by 19 paisa. The price per unit has been increased by 5 percent. This price has been effective since January 1, 2023.

The Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources informed this information on Thursday.

The ministry also informed that the price of electricity will be adjusted every month from now._Agencies
