Vegetables prices high, comfort zone in broiler chicken

Eid passed away almost two weeks. Still the vegetable market is showing it’s high price index including the price of chili. The unrest situation is not being solved yet rather crisis has become depth in lieu of solution. 

To the contrary the price of broiler chickens has shown lower as per today’s market. But it could also be high as before recently, added a businessman.

On friday (14 July) by visiting Goran Bazar of the capital has found that the most vegetable shops are hiking high price. 

Daimond potatoes are selling 40-45 taka per kilo whereas the same potatoes were sold at 30-40 taka per kilo before eid. 

On the other hand, local onion at 70 to 75 taka per kilo, black round eggplant at 110 to 120, bitter gaurd at 100 taka per kilos are selling today.      

Also, green papya is selling at 45 to 50 taka kilo. On the contrary, tomatoes price per kilo is 150 t0 180 taka. And carrots at 100 taka anad others vegetables are selling at 60 to 60 taka per kilo in average. 

Meanwhile the chilis are selling towards consumer at 310 to 330 taka per kg where as massive raid directed by the consumer rights association earlier since last week especially in the karwan bazar and jatrabari wholesale market.
