Dhaka Stocks Open Higher on Today

Tuesday saw a stronger opening for Dhaka's stock market as cautious investors got active, seizing chances to buy some oversold equities following the previous session's sell-offs.

At 11 a.m. on Tuesday, the DSEX, the broad-based index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose 9 points to 6,370 points.

The Shariah-compliant stocks' index DSES increased by 3.42 points to 1390 points, while the blue-chip index DS30 increased by 0.44 points to 2201 points.

During the comparable time, DSE had a Tk295 crore revenue.

134 scrips rose, 44 sank, and 150 remained unchanged out of the total traded.

Asia Pacific General Insurance outperformed the companies, gaining 9.96%, followed by Deshbandhu Polymer (9.92%) and Tosrifa Industries (8.33%).

The Chattogram Stock Exchange's indices also showed encouraging trends during that time.
