Home Ministry Approves 350cc Motorcycles

The Government has approved the plying of motorcycles with an engine capacity of up to 350 cc in the country’s market.

Earlier, motorcycles with engine capacity of more than 165 cc were not allowed in the country’s market.

The Ministry of Home Affairs gave the final approval in this regard on Thursday (September 7).

Due to the new policy, several models of Royal Enfield motorcycles will be available in the country. 

With this new decision, high cc motorcycles of various companies will be able to enter the market of Bangladesh.

Motorcycle manufacturers and service companies believe that the higher the CC of the motorcycle, the better the safety. Increasing the CC limit was very important in the infrastructural development of the country. The approval will increase motorcycle sales in the country. New investments will be attracted in this sector.
