Exports Increased By 11.45pc In January

In January this year, exports increased by 11.45 percent to 5.72 billion dollars. This progress mainly increases the export of garments and other products.

According to the updated data of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), the export income of the July-January period increased by 2.52 percent to 33.26 billion dollars compared to the same period of the previous year.

However, according to EPB data, January exports were 0.69 percent below the monthly target of $5.76 billion.

At the same time, July-January export income is 7.28 percent less than the target of 35.87 billion dollars.
