Bangladesh Raises 12Kg LPG Cylinder Price

The price of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) has been increased once again. For the month of March, the price of a 12 kg cylinder has been determined at Tk 1,482, increased by Tk 8 compared to February.

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced the new price hike today, Sunday (March 3).

The new price will come into effect from 6 pm today, said the organization. BERC informed that the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder has been determined at Tk 1,482, which is Tk 8 higher compared to the previous rate of Tk 1,474 set on February 4.

Earlier, on January 2, the price of a 12 kg cylinder was set at Tk 1,433, which was increased to Tk 1,474 on February 4.

It is noteworthy that the price of LPG and auto gas had decreased five times in 2023 and increased seven times.

Prices decreased in January, March, April, June, and July, and increased in February, May, August, September, October, November, and December.
