ECOTA Fair Trade Announces Newly EC Committee

ECOTA Fair Trade Limited which is working as the national fair trade network of Bangladesh announces their newly elected executive committee members names. Their 33rd AGM held on 20 April on Saturday at the NGO Forum’s conference hall, Lalmatia in the capital.  

During the AGM, outgoing Chairman Swapan Kumar Das delivered his remarks, reflecting on the organization's achievements and milestones.

Following the AGM, the newly elected Executive Committee Members convened for their inaugural Statutory Council meeting on the same day. The purpose of this meeting was to democratically elect the new Executive Committee (EC) for the terms 2023/2024 & 2024/2025. The EC is composed of a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, and additional EC Members, all of whom play pivotal roles in steering the organization towards its goals and objectives.

Among the newly elected executives as chairman Shah Abdus Salam has been elected. Also Shahid Hussain Shamim as vice chairman and SK Munwar Hossain elected as treasurer. 

Among others Shishir Anjelo Rozario, Shahnaz Parveen, Md Mynul Haque, Tauhid Bin Abdus Salam, Sohelee Nazneen(Ruba) and Md. Masum Ibnul Hoque Khan elected as members of the committee.    

Later on the secretariat of ECOTA extends hearty congratulations to the newly elected Executive Committee. 

At this time he expressed his feelings to work with leadership and commitment to furthering the mission of ECOTA Fair Trade Limited, advancing fair trade practices, and fostering sustainable development in the region.
