Shyamol B. Das Appointed As MTB CDO

Shyamol B. Das, has recently joined Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) as the Chief Digital Officer. Prior to this new role, he was the Chief Digital Officer of BRAC Bank Limited. 

Shyamol B. Das is a Technology Strategist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Technology Strategy and Management and is an active practitioner of designing Digital Transformation and Financial Eco System. Shyamol has practiced technological innovations and developments in multifarious backgrounds starting from Telecom, IT Training to Logistics, Airlines in different countries and, then, in Banking locally. Shyamol also served as the CEO of BRAC IT Services Ltd. (biTS), a BRAC & BRAC Bank IT Subsidiary for 3 years. 

Shyamol is a Computer Science Engineer from Bangalore University, India and later earned his post-graduate degree in Information Management & Security from the Royal Holloway University of London, Surrey, UK. Shyamol holds numerous certifications and training besides his achievement on earning diploma certificates from Said Business School, Oxford University, UK and Harvard University on Fintech & Digital Innovations and Executive Certificate on Digital Business strategy from Sloan School of Business, MIT, USA.   Besides, he also earned a certificate on Data Science essentials at UC Berkeley, USA and a foundation certificate on Innovative Design Thinking from IDEO University, USA.
