Sonali Bank Corporate Branch Closed As Banker Tested COVID-19 Positive

Sonali Bank’s corporate branch in Dilkusha area in the capital has been closed temporarily as an employee of the branch was tested positive for novel coronavirus or COVID-19.

Ataur Rahman Pradhan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, confirmed the matter to the media on Monday.  

The branch of the bank has been temporarily closed as after an employee got infected with coronavirus, Pradhan said, adding that we have sent all the employees of the bank to the home quarantine.

The service of the corporate division has been moved to the Motijheel Dilkusha division of the bank, he added.
