European Stocks Strike Mixed Note At Open

Europe's main stock markets struck a mixed note in opening deals on Tuesday.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of leading blue-chip companies fell 0.1 percent to 7,721.07 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX also dropped 0.1 percent to 17,071.03 points but the Paris CAC 40 rose 0.1 percent to 7,774.09.
