I'm a teacher, let me go back to class'

Rushd Faridi, Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka, sent on compulsory leave, has announced that he will continue a solitary movement until returning to class.

He started the movement on Wednesday (November 23).

Not only that, he posted a picture on his Facebook on Wednesday with a status '' beginning today's program. It will be continuing until returning to the class.''

It is reported that Rushad Faridi was sent on compulsory leave in 2017 on charges of 'misbehavior and illiterate conduct' with colleagues. Earlier, a similar action was taken against him for alleged 'immoral activities' with a female student.

In this regard, Rushad Faridi filed a writ petition in the high court. On August 29, the court declared the decision of compulsory leave as invalid. At the same time, the court ordered the defendants to help him join the department.

About three months after the high court's directive, Rushad Faridi gave status on Facebook on Tuesday night, urging him to return to class.

His status is exactly that -
