82,500 Schoolkids Get Primary Scholarships

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education published a list of scholarship recipients who last year attended the Primary Education Completion (PEC) and their equivalent Ebtedayee exams.

Minister of State Md Zakir Hossain formally published the list at a press conference in the City Secretariat on Tuesday.

He said a total of 82,500 students earned scholarships at the Primary Education Completion (PEC) and related exams conducted in 2019.

Out of the estimated scholarship winners, 33,000 students received talent pool scholarships, while 49,500 were in the general category.

The list of scholarship recipients is available on the Primary Education Department website www.dpe.gov.bd.
