Auto Promotion News is Rumor: Education Ministry

The Ministry of Education has said that the news of auto-promotion of students without exams is a rumour.

A statement signed by the ministry’s public relations officer Mohammad AbulKhair on Thursday said, the media which has published reports that students would be given auto-promotion to the next class without examination in the educational institutions are baseless and rumours.

The Ministry of Education has not yet taken any decision regarding auto-promotion, the release added.
