Draft Policy on Auto Pass HSC Results Prepared

Students of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent level, who could not take part in the examinations this year due to coronavirus pandemic, will get their results at the end of this month.

In preparing mark sheets through the auto pass system, the National Advisory Committee has prepared a draft policy and sent it to the Education Minister.

The draft policy is now under scrutiny. If the policy gets approval, the preparation work for results will be completed within a week, various education sources said.

Sources concerned said all the education boards would be able to complete tasks of preparing results for the students of HSC and equivalent level within one week. The results are likely to be published by December 25.

As per the policy, subject-wise marks will be distributed for the examinees. Of them, 25 percent marks on Junior Certificate Examination (JSC) while 75 percent marks will be determined on the obtained marks of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

Number will be given on the results of SSC exams of those examinees who did not appear in JSC exams earlier.
