Draft of 'Education Act 2020' Finalized

The draft of 'Education Act 2020' has been finalized banning note-guide prepared in the form of textbooks.

This was finalized at a meeting chaired by Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Tuesday.  

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel and other high officials concerned.

Confirming the matter to the media, Mohibul Hasan said the ‘Education Act-2020’ has been finalized after a long discussion.   

It will soon be sent to the Cabinet. Later, it will be sent to Jatiya Sangsad via Law Ministry. And finally, it will be enacted with the approval of the President, he added.
