A teacher named Joynal Abedin
Sentu has been expelled from all public examinations for 5 years for giving
wrong instructions to the candidates on the first day of the SSC examination 2021.
The incident took place at
Bagatipara Government Pilot Model High School on Sunday (November 14).
It is learned that on the first
day of the SSC examination, the students had to answer 12 of the 25 multiple
choice questions in the Physics examination. But Sentu, the teacher in charge
of the hall superintendent of the branch center Bagatipara Women's Degree
College, instructed the examinees to answer only 25 questions. As a result, the
examinees give the answers in a short time in a hurry. When they came out of
the hall at the end of the examination and informed the teachers and guardians
of their educational institution, they found out that the teacher had given
them wrong instructions. At this time the examinees and their guardians became
upset. Most of the students of the center were candidates of Dayarampur
Kadirabad Cantonment Public School. Later, the examinees along with their
guardians came to the center secretary Abdus Salam and gave details.
Center Superintendent Joynal
Abedin said, "I did not know the matter, I made a mistake, I apologize to
everyone."
Later, the matter was brought
to the notice of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Priyanka Devi Pal and Upazila
Education Officer Ahad Ali through the Central Secretary. After hearing all the
incidents, UNO spoke to the Board of Education and took steps to resolve the
incidents that took place with the 170 candidates of the center and expelled the
Center Super Sentu for 5 years.
