Admission for Graduation: 70pc Seats Vacant in IU

Islamic University (IU) has completed the admission process of the second merit list of the first year in the academic year (graduation) of 2020-21. At the end of admission, 1475 seats are still vacant in the three units. The third merit list will be published on February 2 against the vacant seats. Those on this list must be admitted by February 7.

This information was revealed by the University ICT Cell on Tuesday (February 1).

According to the information, the admission of the first merit list was completed on January 11. Later, the second merit list was published on 19 January and the admission process was completed on 25 January. So far, 620 students have been admitted in three units against a total of 2095 seats. As a result, there are 349 vacancies in the 'A' unit of the Faculty of Science, 629 seats in the 'B' unit of the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Law and 297 vacancies in the 'C' unit of the Faculty of Commerce.

It is to be noted that all the information related to the vacant seats of the University, including admission, can be found on the University's own website (www.iu.ac.bd).
