Admission Tests of Rajshahi University Begin

The first-year honours admission tests for the academic year 2021-22 in Rajshahi University (RU) began on Monday, reports media.

The exam for the C-unit under science took place from 9 am-10 am.

A total of 178,268 students are participating in the admission test against 4,641 seats.

Some 72,410 students took part in the C-unit entry test which includes 26 departments of science, agriculture, engineering, biology, and geosciences.

"Administration have already taken necessary preparations to complete the examinations fairly. Mobile courts are conducted on the campus by three magistrates, said the university vice-chancellor to media.

A total of 67,237 people will take part in the admission test for A-unit which includes 27 departments of art, law, social science and fine arts while 38,621 will sit for admission test for B-unit which includes six departments of business studies faculty.

The exam for A-unit will take place on 26 July and the exam for B-unit will take place on 27 July.
