Regarding the movement of HSC candidates, Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Chairman Prof. Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that students are wasting time in the name of street movement, that time should be focused on reading. There is no possibility to change exam date.

On Thursday (August 10) he said while talking to the journalists. Meanwhile, some students protested in front of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education demanding the postponement of the HSC and equivalent examinations scheduled to begin this month due to the dengue situation.

At around 12 noon today, a number of HSC candidates took a position in front of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education located at Bakshibazar of the capital.

Students demand that HSC and equivalent exams are going to be held on August 17. But due to the ongoing dengue situation, many of them could not attend the class tests. Besides, many have been infected with dengue. Let the exam be delayed by two months, or else take the exam of 50 marks. At that time, there was also included the demand for not taking taking the ICT exam.
