IUS Vice Chairman had courtesy meeting with Shampratik deshkal Editor

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International University of Scholars, BUET Engineer Ariful Haque Shuhan had a courtesy meeting with Editor of Shampratik Deshkal Elias Uddin Palash. Both of them discussed regarding the quality of education in the private universities of the country and related issues.

On Saturday (September 2) the meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere at the office of Mohammadpur Iqbal Road of Shampratik Deshkal.

Editor Elias Uddin Palash said that the quality of education in the private universities of the country has greatly improved. Continuing that trend, the Board of Directors of the private universities should come forward on how to increase practical education programs with more enriched curriculum.

He also said that the policy maker should be more aware as meritorious students can utilize their merit for the help of the country’s people after their education.

Ariful Haque Shuhan, Vice Chairman of University of Scholars said, private universities have gradually become a place of trust for the students of our country. Parents are relying on private universities as competitive education system for higher education of their children.

Highlighting the multifaceted educational programs of the University of Scholars, he said, IUS is currently working tirelessly to build human resources with soft skills enriched. Also IUS concentrated to build practical technical skills and knowledge based human resources, he added. 

During this time, Ariful Haque also mentioned about their role in developing the latent talent of university students by organizing various workshops including robo soccer competition, programming contest, news presentation.

Later, the editor handed over the book 'Shomoyer Kothokotha' to the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ariful Haque Shuhan. The book edited by Elias Uddin Palash. 

Later, Ariful Haque takes a look over the activities of the news section of Deshkal Weekly, Online and Deshkal Magazine.

Present among others were Nasrin Akhtar (Deputy Editor of Deshkal), Managing Editor Washikur Rahman, Online In Charge Mahfuz Adnan and Joint News Editor Zafar Khan including other staves.
