The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has decided to continue regular teaching activities in government primary schools for the first 10 days of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, senior information officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, confirmed this information on Thursday afternoon.
This decision has been taken by partially revising the list of holidays and academic year 2024 academic year to meet the learning deficit of the students, the ministry said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education said that secondary and lower secondary schools will be open for 15 days in the upcoming month of Ramadan.
In a press release sent by the information and public relations officer of the Ministry of Education, Mohammad Abul Khair, it was informed that it has been decided to continue class activities in public and private secondary and lower secondary schools for 15 days from March 11 to March 25.
