UGC Warns To avoid 30 Private Universities For Admission

The University Grants Commission of Bangladesh recently advised students not to get admitted in 30 private universities across the country.

These universities did not have vice-chancellors and some of these were continuing academic activities on the unapproved campuses and programmes and admitting extra students, defying the Private University Act, 2010 and the commission, the UGC also said.

International University, German University Bangladesh, Global University Bangladesh, Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology, NPI University of Bangladesh, Northern University of Business and Technology, Rabindra Maitree University, Central University of Science and Technology, Tagore University of Creative Arts, Rupayan AKM Shamsuzzoha University, Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University, Bandarban University, Shah Makhdum Management University, University of Brahmanbaria, University of Skill Enrichment and Technology, Microland University of Science and Technology, Sheikh Hasina University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology, International Islami University of Science and Technology, Lalon University of Science and Arts, IBAIS University, The University of Comilla, Queens University and America Bangladesh University.
