CARE is seeking a Chief of the Party for the Multipurpose Disaster Shelter Support (MPDS) Operation. It is expected to be a $13 million, four-year partnership project aimed at alleviating the impacts of natural hazards by constructing shelters and robust urban facilities, growing exposure to spaces conducive to learning and harmony in neighborhoods, and enhancing emergency preparedness.

The Chief of the party is accountable for the general direction and leadership of the initiative and shall be accountable for achieving outcomes. Effective applicants will have extensive expertise in overseeing the services, budgets and activities of USAID-or other multinational donor-funded initiatives.
