Instructions to Fill Vacancies in Government Service Quickly

Due to Corona, recruitment process in government ministries, directorates and various agencies is slow. Thousands of officers and employees have also retired from government service in this long year and a half. In such a situation, the government has given a 21-month age exemption to the candidates who have suffered of age loss due to coronavirus. On the basis of this latest concession, the Ministry of Public Administration has been directed to fill the vacancies of direct recruitment expeditiously.

On Thursday (September 2), the Ministry of Public Administration sent a letter to the ministries and departments with these instructions.

The letter said that the Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification in a letter dated August 19 to give the opportunity to the candidates who have crossed the maximum age limit to apply in various categories of government jobs (excluding BCS).

In this situation, the letter directed the concerned ministry / department to take necessary steps to fill the vacancies in various categories of government service (excluding BCS) within a short period of time.
