Application Deadline for 44th BCS Extended, Candidate's Qualifications Relaxed

The application deadline for the 44th BCS examination for recruitment in government service has been extended by 30 days. Earlier, the last date to apply for the 44th BCS was January 31.

In addition, subparagraph-1.3 (Eligibility of Candidates) of Section-1.0 (Special Instruction) of this BCS Examination Notification has been adjusted.

This was stated in a circular signed by the Controller of Examinations of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission Nur Ahmad on Sunday (February 13).

According to the notification, the last date for submission of the online application form for the 44th BCS Exam-2021 has been rescheduled from 6 pm on January 31, 2022, to 6 pm on March 2, 2022.

It has been said that if a candidate has appeared in an examination which he has passed, he will be eligible to participate in the 44th BCS examination and if the result of that examination has not been published till the last date of submission of application for the 44th BCS examination (online registration). If so, he/she can apply online as a candidate. However, it will be accepted temporarily.

Only those candidates who have completed all the written examinations of undergraduate/postgraduate level by the last date of receipt of applications for the 44th BCS examination, i.e. by 2nd March, will be considered as candidates.

On November 30 last year, the Public Service Commission published the recruitment notification of the 44th BCS. 1 thousand 710 people will be appointed in different cadres.
